With KarmaLove, The Lust continues the strong line that they've set out in the beginning when the band started. Once again the "haunting" vocals of Anna takes you to a dark place in which storyies are told. Yan, Max, Lorelei and Theodor are filling these stories with (dark) guitar riffs, drums, vocals and keyboards. Each track on this album is a story itself that must be heard. This album will also break the repeat button so be careful with that ;-) Highly recommended! Score: 5/5 willem82

I have not heard such kind of dark metal for ages! In the late 90s this style was quite popular with bands like Darkseed, Sundown, Aion, Diabolique, Beseech or Paradise Lost in their soft phase. Sure, on one side "The Everlasting" sounds old-fashioned, but on the other the songs are a welcome variation in my current playlist. And old-fashioned or not, songs like "Waiting for the Sign" or "Bred to be broken" are simply catchy, cool and they rock! H.L.
